New Town Community Roots CIC was founded by local people who believe that strong communities don't happen by accident, they're built, tended, and nurtured. We run projects, create spaces, and support people across our New Town community and beyond.

Our trading arm, Hollyhock Café, helps fund our community work, good coffee doing good things.
Our trading arm
Hollyhock Café is how we keep the lights on. Every cup of coffee and every slice of cake sold at Hollyhock helps fund our community programmes. It's a place to gather, to work, to catch up, and to know that your latte is doing a little bit of good.

Evergreen Events is our community events arm — bringing people together through open, welcoming gatherings in the heart of New Town. From summer BBQs to wellbeing mornings, every event puts community first.
